Simpsons C0-Creator Sam Simon with months to live is donating his estate to Charity.  That says lots about the cartoon man, he's a REAL man and his legacy will live on in those he will help with his money.

Los Lobos, latin band celebrate 40 years of success, aye "La Bamba"

Congratulations to Los Lobos on their upcoming 40th anniversary of success. As a kid, I watched and listened to this band rehearse in my Grandma's basement because the bass player Conrad Lozano is my uncle.

From day one, I saw the band was committed and practiced long hrs day in day out with no regard for time. With only one thing in common, to be the best they can be.

It is their ears and their audience they care  about,  all the rest didn't and doesn't matter. Til this day, the guys don't hire wardrobe people nor makeup staff for their tours.  In fact, once I was with them in London and was surprised  to find myself and them heading off to their gig in a public taxi,  with a shirt folded in a bag or on a hanger they took or "borrowed" from the hotel.  I thought, OMG, when are they going to go pro?  They had at that time already sold plenty of albums and a hit record "La Bamba".  So when they say some people never change, this time it's obviously for the better.  They stayed true to their sound and true to their fans, and that's what makes them one of the best bands in the world today.

Their commitment to deliver the best music they can is what has kept them ticking in a biz that has seen plenty of one hit wonders hit the sidewalks after a huge cover success.  These guys took that cover song and made a success out of what they do, and that's "Making Good Music".

Congratulations Grammy Winner Group Los Lobos for 40 years of great music and continued success.  So happy and proud of my uncle and his band members for being great role models for our people who are still living in the Barrio.  Dreams can happen if you work hard enough.

Edward Snowden, Hero or Traitor?  I think first he is a traitor to the US Government, he was hired to do a job where trust and loyalty is mandatory. Even if sometimes questioning the purpose or ethics of what the job entails, that's what he signed up to do.

HERO? A whistle blower is always going to spark controversy, and that is usually a good thing.  At least the issue is made public and conversation and eyes will be opened.

The govt's argument  is,  he put our National Security at risk by telling the world the NSA collects data from phone records... Oh My GOSH, we and the whole world knows that even the local police here in the US can and been doing that for a very long time.  Remember back in the day before cell phones and internet, they listened in on phone conversations to catch drug dealers and other criminals, and still today. In general, people don't usually discuss sensitive conversations over the phone. Duhh!  So surely with all the updated technology in this world, common sense tells me, the NSA  were also updating their technology for their listening tactics.  At least I hope so. Duhh!  Sometimes I  question "how intelligent is our intelligence" lol.

Well I just love the fact that this guy made it VERY CLEAR, BIG BROTHER collects the data so be careful what u do or say on the telephone, and if you are stupid enough not to get this, then God Bless you simpletons.  Major Tom to Ground Control!

Traveling thru the United Arab Emirates, I was on my way to a camel ranch in the desert and I came across a group of camels being exercised and as usual I whipped out my digital panasonic and started capturing this video. If you watch closely, one of the guys on a camel whips out his Iphone. Queen D on the road in Liwa. I had a great stay at Talal LiWa Resort. I visited Al Mazroui Camel Ranch where I was given a personal tour and even rode a camel. True Arab hospitality, a trip to remember.
