R.E.S.T.O.R.E. inc. Foundation is about to kick off their first annual fundraising event to be held at Entrepreneur Mark B Barron's private residence in Bel Air, Ca on March 19, 2016.

What started off to be a small Birthday gathering for its founder, Award Winning Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon Dr Michael K Obeng has now blown up to be one of the most talked about events since last months Oscars.

Personally, I think it's mainly due to the foundation's mission,

RESTORING a Life is always a good mission.

RESTORE is an acronym that stands for Restoring Emotional Stability Through Outstanding Reconstructive Efforts.  It was founded in 2008 by board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael K. Obeng. RESTORE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit medical service organization that provides free reconstructive surgery and related medical services to children and adults with disfiguring deformities from birth, accidents and diseases involving not only the head and neck region, but also the extremities, trunk and breast.

Some of the Hollywood and Sports most Beautiful Faces will come out to support "Tour de RESTORE" One Face One Breast One Body at a time.

You don't have to Diet to lose weight and stay young.

Why do some women constantly talk about dieting while over time we watch them go up and down in weight like a yoyo?  I  say to those,  "Just do it", and let others talk about how good you look.

While your mouth is talking diet, your mind  is feeling "Stress",  your body may then go into a state of  "Anxiety" and for some, it may even cause shock later when the scale talks truth.  Setting realistic goals based on an unrealistic diet will definitely shock your body and mind further. 

Most people choose diets that they can not stick to for life, so as soon as they reach a comfortable weight loss, they return to their toxic diet and the body finds the pounds you justlost.
Most importantly, surround yourself with people who will talk you up and not down you words filled with envy or hate.

If processed food is part of your diet, then I can assume your body is full of toxins.  Want to lose weight?  Simple, start reducing your intake of processed food and  your "body and mind" will perform better.  When your body and mind perform better, you lose weight, simple as that.

  

You don't have to diet to lose weight, you just have to eat right. Juicing is not eating right either, it is not practical,  our bodies are not built to last on juice alone.  It is simple,  you just need to eliminate processed food from your diet.  Eat real food and your body and mind will work at its best.  I dont use fancy chemicals on my skin nor do i eat fast food or processed unless I'm having a junk day eat-a-thon.  we are entitled to those days, so don't feel guilty, next day wake up and go back to eating right and your body will rid the toxins naturally.  we can never get rid of body our toxins completely but being "conscience" of what we put past our lips will keep you in check.  #ThinkThinAndYouWillBeThin

A few years ago I  spent the last months, weeks, days and hours with a friend  while he was dying of complications from the AIDS virus.  During the last weeks of his life, I read the bible to him while sitting at his side on days he could not physically get out of bed.

I remember the last day and hours with my friend,  he suddenly  sat up at attention position as if someone of great importance entered the room.  My friend was so weak, it wasn't  even physically possible,   He sat  for a few moments, as if he were listening to something and then turned to me and told me  "HE" was in the room.   I asked him what did "he" look like and what did "HE" want?  My friend glanced to the corner of the room and  looked straight back at me with his eyebrow arched and with surprise told me that "he" was black and said he came for him and that it is ok!!!!     I was so surprised he said "he" meaning "Jesus" was black and i was left w my mouth open.  My friend then told me He said to tell me to get glasses in case I was doubting who "HE" was.  At that time, I had not told any living soul that my eyes had been bothering me and I was having headaches.  #BelieveItOrNot

With all the buzz around the net, you would think The Israeli and Palestinian situation was breaking news.  Actually , it's been going on for years.  Finally, technology has caught up with the issue.   The Palestinian struggle has now gone viral.  Finally, All eyes on Israeli and Palestinian leaders, they now have to answer to the world.  The visuals being posted throughout the internet need some serious explanations.  The Powers that Be can no longer hide behind their own government's policies.  THE POWERS THAT BE MUST NOW ANSWER TO THE WORLD!  Simple as that..

The bible tells me we were created to live as free spirited, loving humans, and that we should be kind to one another and loving, and yet we have somehow managed to separate ourselves by race, government, religion.  Some blame themselves and some even put the blame on the devil  and some even believe the Creator Himself, put us on this Earth  with the destiny to destroy ourselves and our Universe. Social Media, can be a very effective tool in the War Game today, any world leader can be bullied on the net.  Who knew that Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other social media platforms would be as powerful as it has today.   In countries where citizens have no voice.  The World Can Now Click on behalf of the voiceless.

Social Media has reduced the world to the size of a computer screen.  Let us see if the people can overcome big powers with the power of the interNET or May God Be With You.

Los Lobos, latin band celebrate 40 years of success, aye "La Bamba"

Congratulations to Los Lobos on their upcoming 40th anniversary of success. As a kid, I watched and listened to this band rehearse in my Grandma's basement because the bass player Conrad Lozano is my uncle.

From day one, I saw the band was committed and practiced long hrs day in day out with no regard for time. With only one thing in common, to be the best they can be.

It is their ears and their audience they care  about,  all the rest didn't and doesn't matter. Til this day, the guys don't hire wardrobe people nor makeup staff for their tours.  In fact, once I was with them in London and was surprised  to find myself and them heading off to their gig in a public taxi,  with a shirt folded in a bag or on a hanger they took or "borrowed" from the hotel.  I thought, OMG, when are they going to go pro?  They had at that time already sold plenty of albums and a hit record "La Bamba".  So when they say some people never change, this time it's obviously for the better.  They stayed true to their sound and true to their fans, and that's what makes them one of the best bands in the world today.

Their commitment to deliver the best music they can is what has kept them ticking in a biz that has seen plenty of one hit wonders hit the sidewalks after a huge cover success.  These guys took that cover song and made a success out of what they do, and that's "Making Good Music".

Congratulations Grammy Winner Group Los Lobos for 40 years of great music and continued success.  So happy and proud of my uncle and his band members for being great role models for our people who are still living in the Barrio.  Dreams can happen if you work hard enough.

Edward Snowden, Hero or Traitor?  I think first he is a traitor to the US Government, he was hired to do a job where trust and loyalty is mandatory. Even if sometimes questioning the purpose or ethics of what the job entails, that's what he signed up to do.

HERO? A whistle blower is always going to spark controversy, and that is usually a good thing.  At least the issue is made public and conversation and eyes will be opened.

The govt's argument  is,  he put our National Security at risk by telling the world the NSA collects data from phone records... Oh My GOSH, we and the whole world knows that even the local police here in the US can and been doing that for a very long time.  Remember back in the day before cell phones and internet, they listened in on phone conversations to catch drug dealers and other criminals, and still today. In general, people don't usually discuss sensitive conversations over the phone. Duhh!  So surely with all the updated technology in this world, common sense tells me, the NSA  were also updating their technology for their listening tactics.  At least I hope so. Duhh!  Sometimes I  question "how intelligent is our intelligence" lol.

Well I just love the fact that this guy made it VERY CLEAR, BIG BROTHER collects the data so be careful what u do or say on the telephone, and if you are stupid enough not to get this, then God Bless you simpletons.  Major Tom to Ground Control!
